This workshop was developed by disabled employees and allies. It strives to educate the broader Stanford community on Disability as a diverse and highly individualized identity and experience. All Stanford employees, including Stanford Medicine and SLAC employees, are invited to learn more about the history of disability advocacy in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, especially in the workplace. Workshop attendees will become comfortable with engaging in disability advocacy. Lastly, this workshop will discuss the disability community at Stanford and offer starting places for supportive resources available throughout and beyond the accommodations process.

Please note that the accommodations-related resources discussed may reflect information available only for University staff. Employees affiliated with Stanford Medicine, SLAC, and other locations should follow up with their local offices to learn more about what accommodations-related support resources exist.
